Being a werewolf at lower levels is great, at higher levels it svcks. Really bad. I cured it for Roleplaying purposes, but you gain no benefit of curing it. People still give you werewolve comments regardless of your choice.

You can use it the rest of the game, and the only benefit for curing lycanthropy is to get the resting bonus when sleeping. And RP reasons

As a lower level using the fear power was useful when fighting groups of bad guys. But once I became powerful enough that wasn't needed anymore.

the cost benefit is as follows:

You are immune from all diseases, including vampirism.
You do not get the rest bonus, which is increased when married and owning a home.

On a RP note. I once changed into a werewolf in front of my wife and she attacked me everytime I walked in the room, so I had to cure myself. In my mind it is six of one half dozen of the other. One is as good as the other.

In hindsite, I should have married Aela and gone off and had puppies together in an abandoned shack somewhere.

None that are worth the drawbacks. The rest penalty robs you of the best stone effect in the game: The Lover's Stone. The disease immunity is pointless when any shrine will cure diseases for free, and the actual wolf-mode is pointless because you don't earn XP while you're in wolf-mode.

i have never seen the advantages of the wolf form.

my character could already use Namira's ring to feed off of her fallen foes.

The lovers stone still should work, as it is not a "rested" bonus, but is the equivalent of it.... Crap - it better, cause that is the one I've been using!

I thought it would help me level up faster after level 50 with the well rested bonus but the time limit is so short that it's not worth it. When you have the lycanthropy power you are immune to diseases so that is reason enough to keep it cause you'll be getting infected a lot otherwise. The only reason to get rid of it that I can think of is if you want to become a vampire.

It does work. I dont know what he's talking about. Im using it right now.

This.

Are you sure?I have read in various guides that Vampirism is prohibited for the rest of your playthrough once you have become a werewolf, no matter if you cure it or not.
