How do I know if I am a vampire or werewolf

Post » Tue Jun 05, 2012 5:48 am

Saw myself in third person for first time. I had no head under my robes, although I had feet and hands. Other than that I am normal.

Got bitten, cured myself but people say I look a bit peaky.

If I didn't cure myself in 72 hours, am I now a vampire or werewolf ?

How do I know and how do I cure myself ?

Look in the magic menu under "active effects" there is shown if contracted vampirism. To cure use a "cure disease" potion or a shrine. After the three day timeframe there is a quest to find a cure.

You can only become a werewolf during the companion quest. In the last of the companion quests you can heal yourself with a witches head (so collect more than one). Up to that point you can turn into a werewolf by selecting "beast form" in the magic menu under "powers" by equipping and using the the shout button.

Just look in your Active Effects list. (Active effects is under Powers and Shouts in Magic). If there is nothing it means that you look tired or they want to sell you some potions. Rest in a bed and you'll feel better. Always keep potions of cure disease with you and go once a while in a temple to activate the shrine. You'll get cured and blessed.

I let others explain you more about vampirism and lycantrophy...

Edit: Sorry for my delay in posting it...

As for your head try anoher helmet.

You can't become a werewolf by getting bitten by one, it could be another disease.
