So it seems I've managed to make cliff racers of both these species, that is, driven to complete and utter extinction. It has been several weeks now, and I am just wondering if they will ever re-surface in Skyrim again? XD

I've never seen the Mammoth outside of Whiterun respawn. And I killed that on the first day, I'm now on about day 200 and something.

Have you been to where the Mammoths and Giants spawn before the 30-days respawn time? Have you tried doing the radiant quest to kill a giant to see if they'll spawn?

that's sad I like giants and mammoths dragons however.... I wish you could drive dragons extinct unlike mammoths and giants you can't really run away and giants and mammoths don't attack npcs and kill your favorite blacksmith.......

that's sad I like giants and mammoths dragons however.... I wish you could drive dragons extinct unlike mammoths and giants you can't really run away and giants and mammoths don't attack npcs and kill your favorite blacksmith.......

hahaha a dragon killed alvor in my game, and his body still lays in the middle of the road, weeks later. i'm tempted to turn him into an ash pile for the sake of the community with a spell.

yeah a dragon has killed alvor in my first game and several of my friends games as well I mostly go to walled cities to stay away from dragons hopefully the expansions will not have dragons In them

I've not seen Giant camps respawn, however I have seen random mammoths and Giants walking around the wilderness. i've killed these and I still find them in the same areas after some time... if they are the "same" ones I'm unsure it could be just another wanderer.

Giants respawn MANY times, i probably have killed more then 50 myself.

I have had dragon attacks in Solitude, Whiterun and Windhelm. So dragon attacks in walled cities are already in the game, it just depends on the mood of the rng.

Personally I hope it will bring more dragons. Perhaps a mother dragon with whelps that it will do anything to protect?

After reading these forums for a few weeks, my take is that dungeons respawn in 30 days, and outside mobs like Bandits and Wolves etc are 10 days. Maybe tho Giants and mammoths use the 30 day rule... not 100% sure, but they definetly do respawn.
