Who's the stealthiest most thief like follower?

I'm using faendal and he's not very sneaky, plus I just broke into a place and he tells me I'm not supposed to be in here -_-

Aela. She's classed as a thief, so her stealth is very high. Always worked well for me when I needed to keep a low profile.

I don't even know how that guy even became a professional thief. He walks like a tipsy goose and he spent half of his time in SVS hitting air and activating traps.

Yeah, Mercer must be the dumbest follower in the game. All he did was run right into Draugr shouting stupid taunts, after which he gets knocked to his knees after two attacks and lets me clean up the mess he caused. Don't know how he even entered the Thieves Guild.

More on topic; you'll be most stealthy when you're not with a follower since all they do for me is break my sneak, but Cicero did quite ok for the short time I used him.

Brynjolf is even worse! You'd think for being the leadership of the Thieve's Guild, they'd have at least SOME skill in sneak. The last I time I did the quest to track fown Mercer, Brynjolf actually FELL from one of the upper walkways. Had to wait for him to clomp clomp clomp his way back up.

I love that part where he says, "we can kill all of them, or try to sneak past" LOL, with you making all that noise back there? I think we'll kill em.

Derkeethus can only get to level 30? That svcks a whole lot.

I noticed that Cicero is listed as having 100 sneak. I don't think anyone mentioned him yet. I have yet to take him as a follower.

I wonder if I should put armor on him or leave him in his jester outfit?

edit: also, what is going on with J'zargo on that spreadsheet? Is the lvl 81 stuff only valid if you do some tricks on the PC?

According to the wiki, J'zargo is the only companion to level with you all the way to 81.

I'm confused on this - for consoles, does this still require the wabbajack treatment described in the Wiki or is that patched?

hehe...

I tried the wabbajack treatment... I chose my lvl 81 character that I have also done some uber potions and uber smithing with... I wabbajacked Vilkas a few times, only succeeded in making him attack me with his 1-hit super-sword that I had previously equipped him with.. does something like 5284 damage. He killed me with one-hit. Oops.
