Transfer character data (Xbox 360) : V

..So i don't have to start over, and i'm getting a newer, bigger hard drive - i'm wondering if it's possible to take the character data (Lv4 Breton) and transfer him off an xbox profile onto another hard drive's xbox profile that already has like 13k achievement points? Or am i just going to have to reroll?

On PS3 you just copy the save data onto a usb... can't an xbox do this?

If you transfer the save of an Old Hd to your new,you don't have to worry.But be warned.Skyrim saves like Fallout new vega are giant(My Fallout:NV save had more than 13.00 gb).Now if you try to recover your gamertag,forget your save.

Well yes, but different Profiles i'm not sure. Say i'm playing on X Profile with like less than 100 achievement points. I want to put this character data onto Y Profile which has about 13k achievement points

Just use the Transfer Cable...seriously...not hard. @_@

I kept my Disc, so when I upgraded from the 120? I think GB for the OLD Xbox, to my Xbox Slim/250gb, Just..used the x-fer cable/x-fer kit.

Remember you have to also go into the License transfer, or you HAVE TO BE On-Live to play any of your games...@_@

Just go try it and report back. All you need is an xbox, usb, and about 5 minutes lol...

Haha i know. The thing is though i'm going to take the save data off a 4G from a slim xbox. Then transfer it to a 250G slim hard drive. And i'm going to transfer the profile with the 13k achievement points from a 20G HDD hard drive. I'm confusing myself.

I never tried that,but i think it's possible.try to watch the process of transferation.

Xbox live just came out with this thing called "cloud saves" you could look into that. I'm not sure if you want to put saves on a new gamertag, but Idk if "cloud saves" support that.

Yeah the PS3 has that cloud storage thing too.. you definitely need to be online for it. That's how it works...

I just use a Flash Drive when I transfer stuff from my hard drive to my other one. I assume it will work the same way for you but I have the older generation Xbox 360.

Edit: Also you can just use cloud I guess.

This could work.But as i said a Fallout new vegas save is too big.As probaly is a skyrim save.
