I'm doing a stealth let's play and I want strong 1 hander. What are the best and where can I get them. Thanks

For daggers, I believe the Blade of Woe is the best one to get. You can get the first one by pickpocketing Astrid, the leader of the Dark Brotherhood, and she'll give you a second one later. For one-handed swords I use Chillrend, which you can loot in one of the final Thieves' Guild quests, and Dragonbane, which you can find in Sky Haven Temple during the main questline. Both Chillrend and Dragonbane have some pretty sick enchantments, and rival Daedric swords in damage. I usually wield both at the same time for more damage output, good luck finding them

One dagger also worth mentioning is Mehrunes' Razor, that you get as a reward from a daedric quest "Pieces of the Past." It has 1% chance of instantly killing on hit.

Chilrend and dragonbane are leveled though. But they are fantastic weapons and can be better than daedric. Pick them up at 36+ for uber swords but pick them up early and they are dirt. Then upgrade them. Chilrend is a glass weapon and i think dragonbane is probable steel (it uses quicksilver, but standard katana's are steel, i had no problems upgrading it)


- Most of the daedric artifacts were weak in my opinion. i liked sanguine rose though, for some reason i never used the wabbajack much. Spellbreaker is decent but i am going off topic...
