I was trying to be nice!

So, many of you have probably met a reveler or two, drinking it up and offering you Honningbrew Mead. Cool and cool.

So, my orc ran into them again (she already received the charmed necklace - because who doesn't like a good party?), and in an effort to be neighborly, she offered up some of her very expensive Black Briar Mead. Just being friendly. So they don't like it. Fine. Whatever.

Then they start snubbing her every time they spawn. Bunch of hipster mead snobs! Next time she sees them she's going to share her steel war hammer. See how they like them apples.

Whilst I find the image of Nords wearing scarves, cardigans and hipster glasses hilarious. If that is how you react to people snubbing your favourite drink. Remind me never to ask you drinking.

Seriously though, hipster Nords. Awesome

While this is not how I, my geektastic self, would respond to a social faux pas, my orc character in Skyrim is not one to shrink from a snub, real or imagined. ;)

To be loved, you have to be nice to people. Every day! But to be hated, you dont have to do squat!

This is why I don't give things to people in the game.

I did offer them the other once myself and got the same response (at the time it was all I had on me). Next time I saw them they were fighting a dragon, and lost, so it really didn't matter anymore.
