What I want for Chirstmass from Beth, let me bind a weapon t

Post » Tue Jun 05, 2012 1:11 am

So I always want a certain sword to be drawn by my left hand, it can't be unless I magically pause time in a fight and use the menus.
So I want to use a shield in my left and have a spell come up in my right while I sheath my sword. Oh I can't do that either, spells always come up on the left.

Why Beth baby why? Let us bind specifically to ether hand with favorite keys. I'm sure left handed players might get a kick out of it too, so they feel more natural.

So far it doesn't seem this is even moddable so this gift has to come from you Beth :bunny:

I think you can put sword in your left and spell in your right...I did it(i think) you select spel in your right (you must unequip weapon) then depending on wich mouse button controls your left hand you click with it on item in your inventory

Yes but going constantly to your inventory menu in a fight is horrible on many many levels. The idea is I should be able to always bind a key not only to the spell/item but to what hand it uses being this can make a big difference in game play.

I don't wanna rock the boat

But Im pretty sure that if say
I set a spell to my left shortcut on the D pad
And my bow to my right D pad. Then....

Pressing left once onviously equips the spell, then use the fav menus to equip my sword to my right hand (note, that's equipping it not assigning it to right D) it is remembered.

If I then switch out to my bow with R on D pad, then back to the spell with L on my D pad, the sword comes out with it.

I'm sorry if this has been said before.

Edit: Ps3

Ok perhaps I should be clear, we don't want to HAVE to go to any menu's here :ermm:

On the PC you can bind them to keys, the problem is that it makes it can't be bound to L/R. Weapons are always right handed, spells are always left. If I want to dual wield without going to a menu in a fight the only way to do this is to wield exactly the same weapon (say two steel swords), then you can hit the key once and it will draw for the right and again for the left. If you do it with say an iron and a steel sword, it will draw the iron sword if you hit that first in the right, and then if you hit the key for the steel sword it will draw THAT one in the right.

This is a moot point for consoles since you don't have the ability to quick key in the first place, but this is a BASIC concept for a PC game.

On 360 you just hit the trigger L/R for the hand you want while looking at your favorites.

I'm pretty sure you can plug a 360 controller up to your PC, whole Microsoft supports Microsoft thing. Then you might be able to hit a trigger to select a favorite. Otherwise I'm sorry, make a mod for it since your on the PC.
