Bear sound cuts off abruptly

Anyone else bothered by the sounds of the bears? They cut off very unnaturally, when you kill the bear, the regular growl sound just end like it his a wall. I am getting quite annoyed by this.

I actually have witnessed bears making noise a second or two after the deathblow, as they fall they kinda do a final growl.

I make revenant bears when I kill them.
There is a good reason for this. They typically last long enough that the NEXT time I encounter a bear while crossing the wilderness, they engage in bear-on-bear combat and let me run away. Reduces actual bear encounters by 50%.

Also I wouldn't be half so bothered by them if they didn't give me that horrible disease EVERY TIME...

Bloody rockjoint, I am actually convinced I once contracted rockjoint from eating uncooked meat in my inventory.

Edit: actually it's bone break fever I think. W/e, the one that gimps stamina.

Y'know... that reminds me of another disease in a previous incarnation called Helljoint.
Can you remember what gives that one?
Hint: They follow you everywhere in large numbers and squawk incessantly.
