Doubt Trophy collecting all 15 artefacts

Post » Tue Jun 05, 2012 3:25 pm

Hi, I have a doubt...

I couldn't complete the quest Waking Nightmare, because Erandor just missed of the main room... I would like to know if I start other game
I'll be able to gain the Trophy of collecting all 15 artefacts... At the moment I have in total 14 artefacts...
Or Will I have to remake all the missions??

Pretty sure you'll have to redo some missions.

AFAIK, you have to have collected all artefacts on one character. Could be wrong though.

If you play on the PC there is some way to fix the missing guy so he comes back , no idea how though since I'm just common console rabble xD

It's possible to get two artifacts from Hircine's quest.

Please do not post Spoilers in General.

People come to General to learn about the game without learning about what happens in the game. If they want to know about what happens, that is what the Cheats, Hints and Spoilers section is for.

Do not use quest details or location specific details related to quests/puzzles/NPCs in your posts in this section. General is for discussing gameplay and mechanics. General topics about the the game include but are not limited to races, items and their use, magic, enchanting, skills, character builds, criticism, praise, funny random things that happen, places from an esthetic standpoint and and other general topics.

Use the Spoilers Section if you have to post quest details or other spoilers or a thread about the same. This also includes console commands, and character build exploits.

I will move this now.

You are correct. All of the Daedric Artifacts [u]must[/i] be collected on one character in order to unlock the Achievement/Trophy for "Oblivion Walker".

Luckily there are 16 Daedric Quests. So if you muck up one, you should still be able to get it.

A couple of them do not count though: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Oblivion_Walker#Achievements

Also I have read that if you use the console then that takes away the achievement (I suppose to stop people from using console commands to just clear all daedric quests). I don't know if this is true or not though.

I think "Darkness Returns" has NO items that count. So there's only 15 quests unfortunately. The thing that might save the OP is that "Ill Met by Moonlight" can net two items that count.

True.

The Mask of Clavicus Vile is an Artifact, but the Axe is not. So to get the Achievement you have to turn in the Axe for the Mask.

With Hircine, the Ring is the Artifact, though the Savior's Hide also works from what I've heard (I got the Ring in my game, and I have the achievement unlocked).

With Nocturnal, the Skeleton Key is iffy at best. I've heard of people unlocking it as soon as they grabbed the Skeleton Key, but I've also had others (myself included) who have carried the Skeleton Key around for months, and it never worked (so I returned it and then went and did another Daedric Quest...)

With Azura, either of the Stars will work (Azura's Star or the Black Star). It's been proven that getting either of these will work towards the Achievement/Trophy.
