What do I do now? + Need help

Post » Tue Jun 05, 2012 4:51 pm

I started my melee Orc last Sunday (18th) and I just beat the MQ. Other than whats left of the boring companions quest line, what should I do? I already have 100 smithy and speech.. I can only think of doing the rest of the enchanting but that will only take me a few hours. For those of you who finished the MQ and still play that character what do YOU do?

SPOILER BELOW

I got the quest 'Paarthurnax' and now when I go to the TOtW, he is not engageable. The quest is no longer in the journal and all he does is rant about how he's a changed man and gives me insight on some words but he won't let me kill him. He sits on his little word wall and when I swing at him he doesn't respond. How do I get past this?

The fact that you read past the huge red letters is your fault.

This^. You could have made a separate thread for that portion of your post in the spoilers section.

However, to your first question, how about hunting down all 3 words of power for each shout, that's always pretty good, and time consuming as well. That's assuming you don't have them all already. Daedric quests are always pretty cool to do as well.

Kids, stop whining because you can't read a very clear warning. That Paarthurnax quest gets bugged. Heres what to do: Go to TOtW, Save, Then use Dragonrend on Paarth. If he doesn't dismount the wall on the first shout or two, just reload and try again. Hope this works for you, it worked for me :)
As for the fun part, I had this same problem, until I realized that I was bored because I had no goal. To be honest, just wandering around the world was enough to keep me entertained and I even found some rather fun sidequests where you never would expect to find anything. Wander, and let sh*t happen, it keeps things fresh enough for me

Agreed that you can easily see the big red Spoiler tag, however people still discuss it within this thread so...yeah spoilers bound 2 happen.

I wonder what part of NO SPOILERS in this Forum isn't clear to the OP?

If you're discussing spoilers, post them in the http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/forum/117-v-skyrim/. DO NOT post links to torrents, streams, music clips, offscreen screenshots, or give folks any sense of where they can find them. That could lead to a warning/suspension and possibly a forum ban.

Ease up, jeez. I'm sure he meant to do it right? Try reading the blatant warning before you blame him.
