This isn't the ultimate min-max type of build, but it does work on master difficulty and it is fun to play. It is also RP friendly, being a basic run of the mill warrior type.

Race: Nord/Orc
Guardian Stone: Warrior
Shrine: Kynereth
Weapon: Mace or Sword
Skill Tree: http://skyrimcalculator.com/#35051 or if you want enchanting http://skyrimcalculator.com/#35073
Guild: Companions
Shouts: Whirlwind Sprint, Unrelenting Force, Fire Breath
Follower: Ranged

Combat style: This build struggles a little vs. mages until you get elemental protection in block tree, but that's why it's good to have a ranged follower for support and your alchemy tree to mix resist potions. I use whirlwind sprint to charge in on ranged. I use unrelenting force vs. melee and fire breath in situations where I have to crank out fast damage. It's all about shield bashing and quick reflex. The only time you shoot anything with your bow is when a dragon is flying around. I leveled this build right after my assassin and made its combat style totally the opposite of what I had been playing and I enjoyed it a lot. BTW, there is sometimes a bug with quick reflex where after awhile you won't be able to exit bullet time. I think I figured out the solution, which is to console command remove the perk and then add it back. For some reason that seems to reset the bug and solves the problem for an extended period (like days). This perk is only a problem if you're on console.

General Info: I don't use magic on this build. Alchemy takes care of heals/bufs. I don't fast travel often, so I pick a ton of herbs. I distribute points 60:40 Health:Stamina. I would say spend your gold on leveling up block tree because it's the catalyst tree for the build and it levels the slowest. I opted not to get enchanting for RP purposes and because I find leveling all 3 trade trees gets tedious. If you gotta have enchanting, then that second link works. If you're the type that has to have some magic, then you can either cut down on the alchemy or remove some of the points from the other trees. You can check my second link to show you which skills I consider the most expendable in that build.

Walk into battle cautiousley with block raised (if multiple enemies) and wait for your chance to attack or stagger the enemies. If facing mages use your enchanting to create a selection of silver rings with Resistance to Frost/ Fire/ Shock to change between when facing each type of mage.
Create and enchant a %one handed attack necklace/ gloves and Fortify Stamina Boots/ heavy armor enchantment

Enchant Weapons with absorbe health then eventualy add Stamina Damage.

Stock up on Stamina potions and split your points 40%health 60% Stamina as you will be sprinting short distances to close the gap on enemies.

Smithing upto Deadric Level.

If facing multiple enemies use conjuration to conjure a Familiar to act as tank for the nearist enemies while you sprint behinde to take the backman out from chipping at your health.
