'You can not move there'

Here I was, traveling towards my new word of power. I came past Glenmoril Cave and decided to climb up the mountain to make a short cut. As I was trying to hop on some rocks I was hitting my head against an invisble wall. A message came up sayin:'You can not move there'. How the hell do you mean I can not move there!? If it was the border of the map then I would happily agree. But this was like in the middle of nowhere. I thought I was able to move everywhere in Skyrim, to wherever I want to. Now I had to take a long detour to get to my objective, as I hate to fast travel. Another example, the Thalmor Embassy. I head in, I start murdering all the soldiers in front of the Embassy and in the Barracks. Then I want to get in to the Embassy itself. The main door is locked and it says I need a key to unlock it. When I go to the right of that door, all the way to the wall surrounding the Embassy, I find a stone wall twice as small as my character. There is another door entrance to the Embassy on the other side. Im actually able to jump on the wall but I can't get any further then that. Once again I'm hitting a invisible wall and because of that there's no way in to the Embassy. Anyone knows how I can get in, besides of the quest btw? I want a Thalmor Embassy massacre lol. But on topic, has anyone came across those invisible walls or idiotic messages saying you can't move there?

That embassy is part of the main quest so they probably have walls there to safe guard until you actually do that quest

I know that, I allready completed the MQ. I want to get in another time and slay everyone inside. The wall Im trying to jump over is twice as small as me, so it should be totally doable to jump over it. If I'm not permitted to reach that place why not place a bigger wall and fence just like the left side of the main entrance door...
