I have this problem sometimes. It's either the fact the caps lock is on or off. Just switch between the 2 and try sprinting

Did you do any minng recently? I have to consciously change my stance after mining or something similar happens to me.

If I'm sneaking when I begin to mine, when it's over it will look like I'm standing. If I don't go into sneak again, it will make my sprinting all jerky, or it won't work at all.

I'm on 360.

Yes it happened to a friend of mine too. What we did was re-bind your movement keys and then default them again. Messing your CAPS key can help sometimes too, but if not go for the first.

Change the sprint keybind (Alt) to another that is already in use like the sneak one for example (Ctrl). Tab and exit and walk. Now re-bind them back like they were on default: Alt for sprinting Ctrl for sneaking. See if that works for you.
