Silent Moons Camp

and theres like a forge here grindstone and armour enhancing table unfortunatly no smelter or leather thinger

and i found a small handful of "Lunar" weapon

how do i make my own i came abck with like 26 irion ingots and made daggers on the clearest night ive had in a while now (always cloudy when i look up ...)

You will need to choose one of the Lunar enchanted weapons that you don't want to keep and disenchant it at an Arcane Enchanter table. The forge is just a regular forge, I believe, with a Skill book somewhere near. It's the Enchantment on the weapons that's unique.

From the Wiki:

"The Lunar Forge is located at http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Silent_Moons_Camp northwest of http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Whiterun. On a Workbench near the forge is a book called http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Notes_On_The_Lunar_Forge, which suggests that weapons smithed here will convey a http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Light_Damage at night when the moons are out. There are several random http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Lunar_Iron_Mace around the forge, which do have these properties. However, the Lunar Forge cannot actually be used to create new Lunar weapons. Instead, Light Damage is an enchantment that can be learned by disenchanting one of Lunar weapons, and can then be applied to any weapon at any http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Arcane_Enchanter."

So you can forge stuff there, but it'll be normal, as you found out.

No you can't make these weapons at the forge. I don't remember if you can disenchant the weapon or not. I wasn't impressed with an enchant that only worked at night.

It says night only but it works all the time. The book by the forge mentions that the enchantment has another effect when the moons are out that drains enemy health and gives it to the weilder.

Clearly, I need to create a vampire assassin dual wielding lunar daggers now!

Oh no! Not another dual wielding vampire assassin?! Skyrim is awash in those. Someone call out the Inquisition! Call out Meridia! Call out the Vigilants!

On my game it only works at night. I have better enchantments that work all the time. Maybe I'd use it for a character that hunted Weres.

A pacifist restoration magic using orc who only uses a lunar dagger to parry/block?

The Lunar Forge seems like another great idea that Beth didn't have time to "flesh out" or that was bugged ina way they couldn't fix before release so it's just sort of there... Like Rune in the TG and a few other places and people in Skyrim. DLC might make these things viable in the future.

Now that would be awesome! Can't say I've heard of such an orc before. Probably got kicked out of the stronghold for being a milk drinker, but didn't let it get him/her down.
