Flying from Skyrim border into Morrowind

I imagine some of you know about this? I just saw this video and the guy has actually gone into other parts of Tamriel by unblocking the invisible wall at the furthest east point from forelhost. Amazing that this secret is actually there in the game. Vardenfell, Morrowind, various mountains, already included.

I wouldn't call it a secret. Look east the next time you're on top of the Throat of the World. You will see Red Mountain in the distance. My partner has seen Cyrodiil (and White Gold Tower) from a spot south of Helgen. I'm sure there are a few other spots around the edge of the map where LOD can be seen as well.

From what I understand, that's the whole reason they are there. Just window dressing.

No kidding! Modders know what we want more than the developers do. I'd love to see Beth hire a lot of these guys to work on the next Elder Scrolls game. I bet it would be awesome!

No, they shouldn't hire people for ideas. Everyone has ideas like these. Ideas are a dime a trillion. Grand ideas are not always good ideas. The idea of having all or most of Tamriel in a single world space has been though of countless times before. I'm sure Bethesda themselves thought of this long before. The only people Bethesda should hire are people who actually MAKE the ideas into a reality.

Technically the programmers "make the ideas into a reality (virtuality?)". Good creators are far less common than good programmers. :P

And, why hire them when they can just steal their ideas? :lol: :nono:

Wow, that looks awesome.

I wish I had experience of doing mods so I could help with that.

True, but level designers (what we modders are, basically) do a large amount of work as well with the actual creation of landscapes and dungeons. Programmers give the level designers the ability to bring their ideas into actuality. Both equally important.
