...at a location besides the Bloodlet Throne near Falkreath?

Just wondering...all the internet info on him states that he's at the Bloodlet Throne (details even given...). But this Dengeir of Stuhn guy (he apparently was the former Jarl of Falkreath) wants me to kill this Vighar vampire and the location he gave is the South Shriekwind Bastion, NOT the Bloodlet Throne.

Let me know...I already found the Bloodlet Throne when I was mountain-hopping and I'm almost positive that I killed a Master Vampire there--but I can't recall what that Vampire's name was--although the name "Vighar" sounds mighty familiar.

But if I already killed him, then why is Dengeir of Stuhn giving me the mission AFTER the fact? Am I missing something here?

I know this game has its glitches but I've been 1 of the lucky ones and haven't encountered any so far. Is this my first one? Or is the internet info about Vighar being at the Bloodlet Throne incorrect?

It's probably one of those quests where the location is randomly chosen. It states in the link below that 'He can be found in http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Bloodlet_Throne, or other vampire lairs'

It's not unusual for quests to be randomly chosen to take place at different locations.

Ok cool. Well thanks for that info. I also wondered if it was a "randomly chosen" location. Its just that all the websites I looked at just stated that he was at the Bloodlet Throne. Typically, these sites will just give you a list of random locations if there is more than one.

Actually, another site just mentioned that Vighar "replaces the normal end boss of the dungeon". So we can safely assume its random.

I'm guessing then that Vighar wasn't the 1 I fought at Bloodlet Throne. Maybe if you find the Bloodlet Throne first (like I did), the location of Vighar is then just randomly placed elsewhere.

Again....thanks. Skyrim is my first Elder Scrolls game I've ever played (so I guess that makes me a newbie, haha). It's visually stunning and I'm having a great time playing it!

The one at Bloodlet Throne might have been called 'Volkihar Master Vampire'. I don't know... it starts with the same letter.
