Too bad i didn't have fraps on at the moment to picture it... Well anyways, here's how it went, i was going trough whiterun's grounds, to do a quest for mara and receive her blessing, when a notice i dragon hovering around in a pretty far distance, i aproach, after traveling for a while and notice it's Alduin performing another ressurection outside the main quest, i quickly turn my eyes around tough...

I start to hear battle noises, i turn my head around and i see 6 guys fighting, 3 imperials and 3 stormcloaks fighting RIGHT in front of the dragon ressurection ritual. I literally wanted to scream at them for not prioritazing something as important as a dragon (being that i use Deadly dragon's mod, it's an even bigger problem). The stromcloaks win and turn their attention to Alduin, who runs away after the ritual.

We start to battle the dragon, he kills off one of the stormcloak's soldiers and proceds to move away from us... and i notice he's breathing at someone else from quite a distance. I tought "maybe it's just the dragon prioritizing an sabre cat or something as aways", but no, it was entirely different, it was the Thalmor, a group of 3 thalmors were now being killed by this dragon, while me, lydia, Meeko and the other 2 stormcloak survivors are still going after the dragon.

He kills off two of the elfs, while the leader is still alive and fighting (near dead), and also kills off the other 2 stormcloaks in the process, after the finishing blow, the Thalmor walks away casually like it never happened... he didn't even stay to go dumbfounded by the fact i svcked a dragon's soul right in front of his eyes. Instead he tried to kill me, for thinking for myself...

At least there was some good loot from the dragon.

Daaaamn, and I think it's keen when I see a giant fighting a dragon. That's awesome.

I once saw the Thalmor attack that fort that you have to break into for the "Infiltration" side quest. I just saw them attack people on the barracks then go in the front door, and when I went in through the secret entrance, they were slaughtering everyone. I just waited for them to finish and leave.

I love these legendary stories. That's a mod I'll be using down the road and it sounds great. Thanks for sharing!

I had a very similar experience near Markarth, on the hill between the north road and Ragnvald. I hiked up to see if there was a path or something, and heard a commotion. Three Thalmor were attacking three Stormcloaks. Just as they made short work of the Stormcloaks, a dragon appears. Perversely, they ignore the dragon and come after me. Me! Who was standing innocently to the side. I pulled them to the dragon and he flamed them enough that finally they had to acknowledge his presence. I was round-robin hitting them and the dragon. At last it died and I finished the Thalmor off. I cleaned up the scene, stripped everything off the Thalmor, tumbled them down the hill to the road, then dragged them to the river. I went up to the caravan and sold all their gear, lol.

The mod itself dosn't make this scenario more easy to replicate, but it sure does increase the challenge (and allows you to get some pretty sweet looking armor for alot of effort).

And are you guys using the Wars in Skyrim mod, or is it still pure luck?
