What is all this talk about followers never levelling up? I decided to put this to the test by going into console and doing "getlevel" on my follower. They were the same level as me. I later levelled up and did "getlevel" again on my follower and she had levelled up with me. So, what gives? Is this a bug for other people?

I've heard that the problem is that some followers will level with you while others will not.

Their skills don't scale up with their level. Use getav [skill] and you'll see.

I did getav destruction on my follower and her skill is levelling up along with mine and is actually higher than my character!
