I love my Skyrim, the mountains were tough though.

So before anyone thinks I'm bashing... I love my Skyrim.

That said... I have to think that perhaps the amount of mountainous terrain was just too much to tackle. The amount of missing sections of mountain I've come across is crazy. Although, it's made it easier to climb up some mountains when I can walk through part of it when I spot a missing chunk. At first I'd see small rocks missing a side. But last night I came across a whole side of a chunk of rock going up the side of a mountain/hill that was missing. I can't remember the name of the bandit lair that I was at just before coming across it.. I'll have to look later on.

Of course, could I have done better? Heck no. :P

Honestly when I find a mountain to be difficult, I just ride a horse up/down them. Horses in Skyrim do not give two sh!ts about physics.

Don't like the entire horse thing - mostly I can manage the mountains with some creative wiggling. Or use of TCL of course.

Well yes, Shadowmere is my little mountain goat. But I'm speaking more to the idea that the mountains were tough when the game was developed because there are so many missing chunks. :)

Well.... I'm told that I'm missing the entire glory of real gaming since I'm not doing it on console. That's okay, I'll live.... :)

I gotcha. I don't think I've ever had that issue....or maybe I did and I just kept ignoring it like all the other problems with the game.

I admit that I enjoy sitting down on the sofa and turning on the 360 and having everything start quickly. I've always had a computer, but most often my computer is somewhat out of date and usually doesn't play the new games of the time very well. But as I mentioned in another post I had lately bought Oblivion for the PC to see what all the hype was about.. And I really can't wait to get a new 'puter then get Skryim for pc. :)

There are definitely perks and I will always play my games on a console... but some games I definitely think I'll start playing on PC. :D

Well then, you're a better person than I am. I won't ever "dis-evolve" to a machine which just runs games.... Games are great - but they don't handle my clients - and I can't run my website management business on a console platform.

I have to say, I find that a bit odd, I've always heard it the other way around, that you're not really doing gaming right if you're not doing it on a computer. LOL. Personally I like both(PC and console), and find extremist attitudes like that annoying.

Heh. Yeah. I agree. The extremists have NOT been on this forum for the most part. This is not, however, the only game forum I frequent.
