For the love of god why is Esbern following me everywhere?

For the love of god why is Esbern following me everywhere? Every time I enter a city or fast travel he is there and all he says is "huh did you say something" And when I try to talk to him there is no dialog. What gives?

Interesting glitch... I assume you already completed all the quests involving him and he and Delphine are supposed to stay at the temple?

I've got a horse that I stole constantly showing up when I fast travel, It's now marked as "Ride" rather than "Steal" but still wanders off when I dismount.

What really svcks is if anything hits me when I fast travel or enter the city, Esbern unloads on them. Hes killing my roleplay. :swear:

There are weird FT glitches like this, and others where the game seems to "attach" stuff to you. I've FT'd and had a skeleton disassemble itself on arrival, bones flying everywhere. I've also had entire dragon carcasses appear, usually shivering uncontrollably. However, the strangest thing happened the other day, and it (hopefully) resolved a long-term mystery:

From time to time, I'd be running along and would hear a random and irregular thumping sound, sort of like a basketball bouncing. I'd look around, but nothing was there. I entered a house and the sound continued, but all of a sudden I saw some legs hanging down from the ceiling. I went upstairs and the legs jerked around. There I found the torso. Any move I made caused a rag-doll effect on the body. Here's the really weird part: the body was mine! I tried to switch views, but I wasn't visible in 3rd person. I'm not sure what caused this glitch, but maybe it was from a draugr deathlord's shout which starts the rag doll cut scene.

That is the most bizarre thing I've ever heard! Are you saying you've constantly got a dead version of yourself floating above your head?!

Only rarely, and the more I think about it, the more certain I am that it's due to a glitch in the fus-ro-dah animation. That is, when I'm the target.
