What are you doing for your build?

I'm curious as to how folks put together their builds and what their rational was. I think it's pretty cool that the game lets you play more or less as you wish.

For instance, I put together a barbarian character for my first run. Bows were a must, but for the most part I'm wearing light armor and carrying a greatsword. Sometimes I use a sword and shield. I have NOTHING invested in magic. I did pick up Aranea Ienith and equip her as a battlemage. I've maxed out smithing. I do a little sneaking, but not a lot. I never use scrolls (I think I have a few dozen locked up somewhere).

I think my next build will be a ranger... maybe have several bows with various enchants on hand and lots of poisons. Then beef up on stam pots for endless shooting.

Go hardcoe Barbarian by wearing nothing by fur armor and use nothing but two-handed weapons! Go with Smithing, but do it in moderation... you'll need it to beef up your weak armor rating. I've tried this build on my first character and it was a pretty decent challenge.

But if you don't go all out with Barbarian, then sneak some skills in the complements both your role playing and gameplay style.

With ranger, obviously you'll need light armor and archery. Go with some one-handed skills and some Alchemy with your build. When I go with Ranger, the build is between warrior and thief with both mindsets at an even balance.

My next build is going to be modeled off of one eye from valhalla rising so probably a no to light armor wearing killing machine with one eye, no magic and no enchanted gear beyond artifacts if any. Will probably go thief and DB though he may decide to destroy them. Not sure on the fighting style as of yet will either be two handed or dual weilding, or ax and shield

I just caught a bit of that film. The wife walked in as someone's insides were... yanked out. Very odd looking film. Intriguing... but I may have to give it a pass.

It's not for everyone its a very atmospheric film meant to draw you in then force you to feel the ambiance and awkward nature of the events in the film. The action mostly happens in the begining then it slows down dramatically. It also takes 2 viewings and a keen eye to really catch the highly subtle clues and hidden messages in the film to ultimately get the film and where it was going and why and how it ends.

I loved the movie and the character one eye, but i read up on it first before watching so I knew what to expect from it and at the time was exactly what i was in the mood for and really made me want to play skyrim even though at the time skyrim was still months away.
