Hi, I am a lvl 47 and my smything is 100, but every time i try to improve my 2 fav weapons, i get a "u lack the requirement to improve this item", I was only able to improve it to Flawless and damage 65, its the molag bal and the nightingale blade, i'm really stumped because i had to reload a previous save and before the save i had it at least to legendary and i was a lvl lower than now and i didn't have smything maxed out....pulling my hair out with this puzzle!.Im on xbox 360...can someone please help? I have the perk Arcane Blacksmith

These two weapons are not aumented by any smithing perks, so to improve them to legendary you'll need to equip as much gear as you can that increases your smithing and possibly drink a smithing potion too before improving them.

Make a set yourself through enchanting, IIRC you can enchant four pieces of armor ( ring, necklace, gauntlets and chest piece) with +25% smithing each if your enchanting is maxed for a 100% bonus from equipment plus whatever potion bonus you can make/find.

Mm-hm. I used this site: http://www.gamefront.com/skyrim-best-possible-equipment-guide/
You'll need to modify/amend the steps to fit your character/situation, but it at least outlines the steps in the best possible order.

You can find a list of all pre-made in-game enchanting and smithing items here: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Generic_Magic_Apparel (scroll down for the enchanting and smithing)
This way, you'll know what's out there if you're not into making it yourself.

And lastly, if you're not doing your own alchemy, these are the potions that are out there (scrolling down for the enchanting and smithing): http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Potions
