how do you pickup things and read books, turn pages. just got the game troubled area

On Xbox - hold down "A" to pick up objects. To read books just click on them, they open up automatically, and use the left stick to turn pages.

I'm pretty sure the game gives you instructions during the tutorial phase ... Just pay attention.

I assume your game came with an instruction booklet?

Am using the pc version and i didnt read anywhere on how to pick up objects so i figured they had removed the feature. Then i read on these forums you just have to press the E key and keep it pressed to pick up an object and move it around. For books or to activate other things you just tap E to read them etc.

If their on shelves or out in the open you can just press use key to read. If their in containers or in lootable places like bodies, they can't be read and must be read from the inventory UI after you take or steal them.

Do you mean picking up things and moving them, or adding them to you inventory. If you want to move them, hold down the button that you use to pick them up. If it's the latter, then... you should know how, if not by them telling you in the tutorial, then by just pressing every key on the keyboard or button on the controller.

To read books that aren't in your inventory, just use the pick up button. To read ones that are in your inventory or another container, I think it tells you which button in the bottom left corner, I think it's RT on the Xbox?
