I was playing today and noticed I was able to regen magic while I had a spell readied(holding down my left/right button to cast). Normally my bar doesn't regen in that situation. It went on like this through a giant fight, followed by a dragon. I fast travel, sold some junk, and hit up the talos shrine to cure a disease I had. Once I was back on the road I realized my regen was normal again, magic didn't regen when I had a spell cast but not et released.

What exactly allowed this to occur? It made fights a bit too easy seeing as I was able to use my ward with zero magic loss(regen was higher then actual cost) and I could duel wield fire destruction apprentice magic over and over without loosing any magic so long as I delayed my next shot by half a second.

I am a high elf, but I didn't use my power. Also my power doesn't regen when I'm casting something. I also hadn't used my highborn power in quite some time. Is this a bug? Should i be able to regen magic while casting, and have been playing with a bug the whole game? What am I not seeing here?

Did you cleaned the light pipes at the academy, with the help of some gauntlet? i think this is a bonus that occurs this way.
