Wishlist for enhancements?

Post » Wed Jun 06, 2012 7:31 am

What items or enhancements are on your wishlist for Skyrim? I'm not talking about DLC, per se, but things or features you wish Beth would add?

For me: the ability to purchase and place additional bookshelves and weapons racks. I would pay dearly for this.

Okay, but there's 11,724 posts about all of the bugs. This thread is about what you'd like to see them add as a feature, once all the major bugs are squashed.

Female mannequins. Better optimization for my platform of choice. More houses to buy. More armor sets. Stuff like that?

bow shoots spell (fire ball, summon Demora, mage light...) that way an archer can cast spell without being so clunky about it, probably make it an active effect though rather than on strike like thing.
Absorb mage enchantment for armor.
Unlock spell.

More things/Activities to blow your money off on.

More diversions to get yourself into.

Making the mills mines and grain grinders useful for something other than eye candy

more weapon types.

More Quests inbetween the "plot advancing" quests for all the guilds and a reorganization of the rank advancements ;p

and probably the most of all, MORE SPELL TYPES AND SPELL MAKING ;0

Confirmation when attempting to withdraw everything from a container when there are more than 6 items inside.

Ability to overwrite enchantments

Container contents sorted into categories like the player inventory

Sprinting and jumping

Jumping and attacking

Better enemy Ai all around, especially for dragons.

Stronger dragons all around, especially Alduin and named dragons.

An additional difficulty above Master

Yes, but aren't you glad they are there as eye candy instead of being static models? I could totally hear the complains now about all of the static models around with which we cannot interact... they went the next step and made them interactive and I honestly cannot imagine what else I'd do with them except maybe torture a few informants. ;-)

Omg, definitely agree with this!!

An additional difficulty above Master

Like what... Super Master? Master implies something in the title.

Defnitely something to act as an additional coin sink. My main character (doesnt level anymore, has full gear) is rolling around in septims. She has well over 300k by now and nothing to spend it on.

Maybe several different furnishing options in different price ranges for the same house. For example, your bedroom could cost either 1000, 5000 or even 15.000 septim, then you'd just pick what ever you can afford.

I'd also love to be able to craft my own arrows and possibly even enchant them (burning arrows etc.).

Customization options for armor/clothing would be awesome also.

Yeah I was glad...for the first 10 minutes lol. thats the thing about novelty. it can wear off, not complaining, just asking for some practicality that was boasted before Skyrims release. you know...Mills having something to do with Arrows..etc etc.

  • More RS functionality, anyone who's played NV might recall a mission for one of the families where you sit outside a shop and screen people coming in. can we have this please? you run a shop RS sends people in from the town to purchase from you when your "actively tending" the shop and when your not your assistant, handles those and gives you the gold.
  • Pushing that even further, thief attempts from your shop as well.
  • bandits and Vampires have Arenas why don't we? somewhere to bet in fights or capture a beast to enter into fights.
  • Hunting more than just self made RP intiative, can I join those hunters? so much wilderness passing one buy, a guild or a faction to participate in would be lovely.
  • REVAMP THE WAITING BUTTON, Imagine this a tactile waiting functionality, you press "wait" you get an option as to what you want to do while waiting, lean on a wall? meditate? practice swinging at a nearby training dummy? something other than the since Arena fade to black thing that has been done since the dawn of TES please lol.
  • I cannot stress enough how much more they should use RS in creative fashion, I really can't.

Grandmaster sounds appropriate in title to me. Although, I generally would hope Ai and some mechanical quirks gets revamped first before that..as it could make an extra difficulty unnecessary.

Hmmm, I guess. Of course, with that title, if you dress appropriately enough in-game, you could be accused of being a part of a certain racist/political group from the deep South...

More spell effects (like unlocking and others).
Cap on reduction to spell cost -- different ways to use enchanting to improving magic rather than just a cost reduction.
Spell creation.
Scaling spells so the different sorts of spells all stay useful leading to a wide variety of options at high level.
Difficulty adjustment so that you can have larger groups of enemies rather than just making the small numbers tougher.
More armor skins.
Wands/orbs/other magical items that you equip which can enhance spellcasting (non-trivial to implement this, but it would allow another way to improve magic so it has the same depth as ranged and melee, which would make balance easier).
Get rid of filler and boring perks as much as possible. Not perk should become useless after a time and a lot more need to modify gameplay.

What would be the use of the difficulty sliders when all it does is, lower your damage output, increase the enemies own as well as their health. its not like it changes what spawns, the options in the quests or even the general price of things. like you said I'd wait for them to change how they handle difficulty in game before the levels of them.

Just a few. Housecats, stronger regular dragons (elder and ancients are fine), greater variety of creatures, game balance
