Does Falk ever go anywhere?

Post » Wed Jun 06, 2012 4:49 am

I've watched Falk for a day. He stood in the same place for 24 hours. Does he ever go anywhere?

I'd like to follow him to a place with a storage container handy. (You know why) Is it possible? Where?

There's a cupboard in the corner at the right if you're facing Elisif. You can get to it easily if you have Slow Time. If you don't it's close enough to where he stands that you might be able to bump him next to it.

Bump him? A cupboard? I'll look.

Does he go to sleep?

Ahhhhh ....... yes ....... the cupboard.

Funny I didn't notice it before.

It worked perfectly for the task at hand. No need to bump Falk at all. Both are easily in reach for the transaction.

Thanks buckom! :goodjob: :foodndrink:

NP. :P FWIW: I don't think he ever leaves that spot - that's how I finally noticed the Cupboard. And, in case you have trouble with the Windhelm guy: the only place he's near a container is on the nights he sleeps in the kitchen on the bedroll. Some nights he's sleeping there and other nights the cook is. ;)

I'll always use the house buying exploit regardless of how much money I have - it's my divine right as Dragonborn.

Falk never moves. He's the Ultimate steward. You can stand on the table to reach both the cupboard and him though.

Guy takes his job WAY too seriously.

I got Proudspire Manor for free, including all decorations. You have to stand between the cupboard and Falk and the second you purchase something, you have to use the Slow Time shout, turn around to the cupboard and put your money in it. Works like a charm.

About Falk Firebeard going somewhere? I believe not. I know that Elisef and Sybille Stendar leave and take naps, but Falk remains stationary the hole time. Maybe now and then he goes to the corner and takes a leak, who knows. :whistling:

Talking about free houses, I'm having trouble getting Vlindrel Hall in Markarth. There are some containers nearby, but for some reason I can't store something in them without getting a bounty and the whole keep jumping me. Any way to do this easier?

There is container very close to Rearek. (Jarl Igmund Steward)

If you stand right in front Rearek, turn around in the corner. Its some sort of satchel or stone safe.

It is a quite dark corner. Use a torch or a ligning spell if you can't see it, but its there. i got Vlindrel house and all the decorations for free. BTW, did you know that you don't really need the Slow Time shout to get the houses for free. If you fast enough, you can do it withouth the shout.

There's a Dwemer Chest between the wall and the column in front of the Steward that I used. Are you taking everything out or just the gold?

I have never used Slow Time for any house transaction. It's just not needed.
