Taproot that you can't pick up.

I never know there was something like 'taproot' but just from the looks, it reminded me of spriggans. Thank you.

Yeah, they're supposed to be from spriggans that have been sacrificed by hags. Spriggans normally drop taproot and/or spriggan sap, both really useful alchemy ingredients, but also quite rare. I've always been annoyed that I can't pick up the taproot from hag hangouts.

Meh, no more annoying than the many (many many many) mammoth tusks you can't pick up. I assume they are to old / dry / defiled to be of use / value.
