Redoran's Retreat

So what's with this caves name. When I 1st saw it I was like "OMG will there be last remaining members of House Redoran inside?!?! The Great House my PC joined in MW!!!".

Unfortunately I was wrong. I hoped for a Journal or anything... even armor but there was nothing.

Any toughts?

Honestly I never connected the name myself. I have no idea why it would be named after a Dunmer Great House though.

I think it's a little bit sad that they named it like that and did not give it a proper background.

And no there were no TROLLS.

I was actually expecting that too. Got a bit disappointed, but oh well.

That makes a bunch of us.... I was really prepared for some epic tale/quest - something.... when I got the quest to get Amren's sword in there on my first toon in this game (just after having become a House Redoranite in MW....)

Nope. You know, there seems to be a fair amount of "dropped the ball" on stuff that would have been VERY COOL storylines....

However there is more things that were hit spot on. But I agree maybe a little less time spent on easter eggs would help develop already established stories.

Mostly.... I find compelling storylines pretty thin on the ground in Skyrim. No use for the MQ (one toon was enough), even LESS use for the civil war. Did the TG once. Not doing it again. I trash the DB on every toon eventually. And for the rest, yes, I LOVE running around the country doing miscellaneous quests and bandit extermination. I love the whole Alftand thing, and the lighthouse mystery. I do a couple of the daedric things, but not most of them. I wish Beth had done more quests to fit me (not me personally, just others like me), but that's okay - the modders are busy fixing that.
