My thoughts on Skyrim...Two Thumbs Up!

Post » Wed Jun 06, 2012 10:08 am

Must admit that this is my first RPG of this sort, Ive always been a roleplayer and enjoy games that allow the player to immerse thmselves into the fantasy. I have a copy of the game and have all three of my sons playing as well, its a blast! Awsome story, great art and interesting characters. I love the Norse mythology and the varying gods and godesses as well as the never ending game play possibilities.

Im looking forward to updates and expansions and continuing progress on my characters. Great job Team Bethesda!

Definitely, for all it's bugs Skyrim is still an amazing game.
I'd recommend you check out the Fallout series and the previous games in the Elder scrolls series if you enjoyed Skyrim (and are eager for a similar experience while waiting for Skyrim DLC).

Skyrim is quite enjoyable. Also try Morrowind and Oblivion, they are amazing as well.

My sons have played Fallout, I may look into that after a while. Also will look into the earlier Scrolls games. Skyrim DLC? I assume that will be the expansion? if so where can I find information on that? Thanks!

It`s pretty good, despite its faults, I do keep coming back to it primarily because it gives me the freedom to adventure how I want.

I`m waiting for mods to make it even better.

DLC means Downloadable Content, it is about the same as an expansion.

Edit: No information has been released on what the first DLC will include, in case you were still wondering.

If you like skyrim so much I would have to say start up Fallout New Vegas, aslong as not having fancy graphics doesn't turn you away from games, you'll enjoy it. Most would say it's far more immersive, your actions actually have consequences and there are none of these god awful "essential NPCs"
Plus it's only about $15 so if you find it's not to your expectations there's no real loss(like how I felt with skyrim)
Really it's a must buy IMO, and you'll probably end up like most of us, drooling over the thought of a new Fallout (please let obsidian take part in it PLEASE!!!!!)

It is a good game, you should try Morrowind and Oblivion too. Maybe Fallout 3 and NV.

Both of the recent Fallouts are 50% on steam right now, all their DLC too.
