Not motivated to do the MQ again.

Seriously, I'm on my 5th character now. So far, I've only completer the MQ with one character, I used the others to mainly roleplay and use totally different playstyles (one is part of various councils, while the other is a bandit not allowed in cities, for example). But I don't think I'll ever touch the MQ again. In Fallout New Vegas, I've played trough the MQ with every character, even if I roleplayed.

But Skyrim's MQ is quite basic, you're walking a straight line to defeat Alduin. No spins, no twists, no betrayals, no surprises. I mean, there were a few cool moments where you flew a dragon or stepped into Sovngarde for the first time, but that's it.

So.. is there any reason why I should play it again?

Not if you don't feel like it. I don't do it with every character. It's great for XP and building your character, though.

No if you don't really want.

There are millions of other more interesting things to do in that game than the Mq if you don't like it. The (few) surprises are somewhere else in the game.

FnV is a real Rpg with concrete moral choices that provides alternatives and allow different endings even in the Mq -not an action/adventure open world game with some rpg element like Skyrim that not allow such a thing.

They're two totally different games. And if ' you've played FnV you know of what i'm talking about

I'm playing it for a second time on one of my characters because the first time I missed out on a few things by doing the civil war quests first.
After that I'm probably done with it though. I have more fun in Skyrim without dragons.

And the MQ of FNV was mostly superior because there were 4 different ways to finish it. Sadly there are very few quests in Skyrim that have alternate ways of finishing
