Smithing things? Do you mean materials like ingots, they are sold by blacksmiths. General stores sell smithing material to though, leather straps and ingots etc.

I think he means things like gauntlets of eminent smithing, and such.

Make your own. Train your alchemy, enchanting, and smithing.

Try blacksmiths and look under Misc.

Edit:I didn't think about Gauntlets and stuff.

He was a bit vague.

Blacksmiths and general stores sell enchanted gear, you will have more luck finding armor with smithing enchants at blacksmiths and more luck finding neckless/rings at general.

Also why don't you just play the game and enjoy it? You don't need to meet the armor cap to play the game. I play with an armor rating of ~350 on master with my warrior, level 35, and I do fine. It's boring having no challenge IMO.

The OP is referring to armour components and jewellry with a smithing enchantment on it. As has been posted, skill up alchemy/enchantment/smithing and make it.

Just don't go looping and ruin the game for yourself.

Maybe meeting the armor cap is exactly how he (she?) plays and enjoys the game.

Well maybe so, but skyrim for me isn't about being the best early on. I like challenge.

I bet he will find it boring very soon if he meets the armor cap at a lower level.
