I've been wanting to try a berserker-type character. Dual wield warrior type but with light armor. Anyone tried this? Any good?

If you max out Smithing and possibly Enchanting you can get Light Armor past the armor cap if that's your main concern.

As buckom mentioned you'll have no trouble if you already smith your gear to armor cap. Otherwise, stick to heavy armor for a while. I'm a fan of dual wielding myself, but from my experience, you can't really go berserk mode with light armor, especially when you get swamped with lots of enemies. Elemental fury shout helps a bit if you're dealing with some tough boss. Get a melee follower, preferably two-handed, to switch tanking damage from enemies.

I usually use an Orc, and Heavy Armor. Usually doesn't use any magic and rarly blocks so the higher armor is better at lower levels.
