Heya guys, so I went to make some potions today on my character and noticed something with my Restore Health pots. They were only healing 5 points, according to the label. Sure enough, that's all they did. I'm perked out in the alchemy tree and on top of this I was wearing 4x 25% Fortify Alchemy gear. So does anyone know why my potions are suddenly acting like I'm an unperked level 15 without enchantments? I have no active effects listed that would impact my alchemy, and I've reloaded/restarted my xbox multiple times with no luck.

Any help would be great, I seriously cannot live without alchemy in this game!

I read something similar in an old, old, old previous post.. Check about alchemy or fortify restoration effect on alchemy. Might find an answer..

Wow, maybe they have rebalanced this...?
I guess no more 1200% smithing and fortify restoration potions for me.
But it's too late - I have already buffed Mehrune's Razor up to a damage of 705 or something...
It easily gets kinda ridiculous.

I haven't heard of this happening yet,that svcks big time.
Does it do this for all potions and poisons or is it just restore health potions?

I would take a look at the recipe you are using. I suspect you have a pair of ingredients that both have restore health AND damage or ravage health at the same time.
Do you have a mode that adds new alchemy ingredients, that maybe aren't giving what they say?

Something I've noticed, which is probably not your issue, but could be affecting it slightly is I can't don my Fortify Alchemy gear from the Satchel. I keep my Fortify Alchemy gear (4 pieces at 25% each) in the Apothecary's Satchel on the table in Breezehome. I have to to take the gear out, exit the Satchel, don the gear, and then activate the Alchemy Table for the gear to work.

Hopefully it's what thinzad is proposing because that would be a relatively easy fix.
