My worst and best experience in all of Skyrim.

Post » Wed Jun 06, 2012 12:21 pm

My best experience was learning the full three words of unrelenting force. There's nothing better than seeing your enemy fly through the air from your voice.

My worst experience is seeing Faendal leave my house in Whiterun after I married Camilla. I know she was cheating. Even when I moved to Solitude the dude still shows up at my house. I think my lovely wife is cheating lol. If you remember they were both part of the love triangle mission we did at the very start of the game. I'm gonna get rid of him of you know what mean. Maybe a hunting accident. I'm giving my wife a second chance. She's lucky I'm playing on the ps3 and cannot get remarried.

What's your best and worst experience?

I think my best experience was clearing that first dungeon when I had just started out. Bleak Falls Barrow, isn't that the one near Riverwood with the Golden Claw?
Catching up to and chopping down that bandit with the claw was a great experience. Also seeing Paarthurnax for the first time was great.

I think my worst experience is the Imperial legion/Stormcloak battles. They're just messy, and I ended up setting fire to some of my own legionnaires.
And, I feel clearing Sky Haven Temple and giving the Blades a new HQ is seriously underwhelming, considering you as the player have little more interaction with the Blades.

Worse experience: finding myself forced into 3rd person on horse and werewolf when I play only in 1st...

Best experience: Dragons, finding dwemer ruins and discovering I can`t fight underwater...

My single worst experience was finding out that you can't assist/join the Thalmor even if playing an Altmer
The single best experience probably was escaping from Helgen the first time.

I can't offhand think of best and worst experiences - Worst probably being sometime where a complete disaster occurred, or when the game bugged

I agree that getting Fus Ro Dah was fun

I like how everyone's convinced that Camilla cheats due to a glitch in AI schedules (Faendal simply never removes his "go visit Camilla" package)

Best experience was playing the game simultaniously while my wife was in the same room, when we both where going to High Hrothgar for the first time. Both of us seeing and hearing the same NPCs at the same time.

Worst experience was when I took a look at her screen; I play on the big TV with my xbox; and saw her better graphics, side-by-side with mine

Best experience, playing as a thief is so rewarding.
Worst experience, playing it on PS3 and essential characters.

The latest best experience: finding scaled horn armour; I didn't know this kind of armour exists, and I like finding new little things in the game.

The latest worst experience: realising my character is so powerful now that sabres and bears no longer pose much of a challenge.

Best experience - I think I've had to many to name just the one.

Worst experience - Lydia died. I haven't used another companion since.

Best - The details. There are so many tiny details that create a world instead of a game.
Worst - When I started seeing the limitations of the game.

Best: There has been a few awesome moments, I really enjoy most aspects of the game. But, if I had to pick one awe inspiring moment, it would have to be upon first entering Blackreach. Such an awesome vibe to this area!

Worst: Not sure if it is fortunate or unfortunate, but I can only think of bugs as being the worst moments in the game.

Although, I guess the end of the College of Winterhold quest line felt lame. I'd pick that as the worst so far.

Tell me you kill him with your bare hands as punishment, make him your follower and lead him to somewhere empty.

Best: Managing to kill a spriggan matron and 5 bears on ~level 12 on master. I was mental, so much running, healing and conjuring, but I managed it ha.

Worst: The classic giant at low levels, thought it was friendly... You know the rest

Lots of good things to say about this game.

Worst is getting quest items before you get the quests and have them stuck in your inventory. No quest item or bounty that i've completed before I got the bounty or quest has updated and is either stuck in my quest log or my inventory. That irks me. Need to fix that pronto.

Best: my first night time dragon fight
It was in the volcanic tundra at Bonestrewn Crest. The aurora borealis was giving off green and cream colored lights... while the dragon was giving red and yellow from his internal refiner's fire. It made the hair stand up on the back of my neck and put chills up and down my arms.

Worst: discovered that a few Word Walls were quest locked
Not to open a can of worms here, but I was a little disappointed when I learned that I couldn't get the 3rd word of Ice Form without joining a guild. That guild dosen't compliment a warrior at all when you're RP'ing one. Nor does the other two that has quest locked Word Walls.

Sorr y if you already know this, but you can put quest items (only weapons though) in weapons racks so you dont have to lug them around.

I think you should be able to take them out of your inventory regardless, I guess its supposed to stop broken quest due to lost items, but Bethesda broke a heap of quests anyways.

Best, proving to the Blades that killing Pathurnaax would have been a bad choice

Worst, breaking into 6 different houses in Soltitude to murder everyone inside only to find out that there's either an important person or a child in there. Children I get, but there shouldn't be Important characters, if I kill them, I'll suffer the qonsequences, failing a quest or otherwise. The only people you shouldn't be able to kill are children and Main quest characters.
