How many quests do I have to kill to get Ulfric to engage in dialog if the player hasn't joined the stormcloaks...he is, of course, still doing his Map Scene...I killed the intro quest, hoping that would free him up from the introductions...and now he's telling me I should be at Korvanjund...I didn't even do the intro to join the Stormcloaks, and the Jagged Crown quest is already running? I'm afraid if I kill too many quests, the interconnected web that is the civil war questline will collapse completely and leave every Stormcloak and Imperial standing around drooling...

Odd...I would think most modders know about the quests already, at least the major ones. Doubt anyone in the Spoilers forum will know much about modding unless they're also a modder...

Hmm, i might say something super dumb or completely off-topic, but wouldn't setting your custom quest priority higher than stormcloaks ones, do the trick ?

Alas, I don't think so...Blocking topics...Guess I'll have to kill a couple more quests. Maybe I can save their stages, and restart them afterward...or just design my questline so it takes up the slack for the missing quests somehow.

I play on ps3 and I don't know much about modding except that i modded morrowind. But what if you modified the intro quest so you can talk to ulfric about whatever it is you have to talk about in your mod. or modify his dialog so he will say something else first. This is probably wrong but hopefully it will help.

You should probably post this in the mods section if you want mod help...

Gee, ya think? Some Moderator moved it here, presumably since it mentioned a quest line...though I'm pretty sure most modders have played the game at least through the first part of the civil war.
