Tell Me About Jenassa Please?

Post » Wed Jun 06, 2012 2:40 pm

So I'm in the 360 and Jenassa is my wife.

She's the Dunmer Mercenary in the Drunken Huntsman Pub in Whiterun.

When I met her she seemed to be sporting Leather Armour and dual wielding daggers.

As a follower or Wife she'll use pretty much whatever I give her.

I'm curious though, are any of you guys (or girls) who are able to peek into the PC version of the game able to tell me if she's pre-disposed to favouring:

- Light or Heavy armour?

- 1 armed combat vs dual wielding?

Does she actually come with any pre-set character dispositions or does it not really matter?

Thanks in advance.

dual blades and archery are her strong points. light armor is best for her cause she can sneak like a mother (in light armor.).
i gave her a glass bow and one glass arrow. whatever i shoot in sneak and dont one hit kill, she finishes them off with a second shot.
oh and if your in sneak hold a button on her and tell her to attack something and she can ohk things from sneak (with a dagger).
good luck and good choice.

That's awesome. I'll put her in the right armour then.

She's pretty handy with everything I give her but for some reason she was always slipping back into the best Light Armour I gave her.

That would explain why.

Where did you get this information from?

Is it looking at her stats in the programming or just your personal experience with her?

You can see her skills using the console commands.
One of my characters have hired her, and I've found the following stats:

Light Armor: 48
Heavy Armor: 15
Block: 28
Onehanded: 28
Twohanded: 15
Marksman: 43
Sneak: 30
Health: 230

It shows a pretty clear trend as to where her focus lies ^^

personal experience cause she is my follower and when you talk to her at the tavern. she says something about her blade and being "the shadow at your back". so i figured give her two swords and let her sneak with me. later on i gave her a sheild to hold (cause i was carrying to much) and she broke that out. she used it well when we were spotted. so now has some leveled thieves guild armor, ebony bow i found and a elven shield and ebony sword. i hope to find some dark brotherhood armor for her. that would be awesome.

There was a comment somewhere (Wiki article, I think) that said followers stats were frozen at the first time you entered their area, but that you could (on the PC) Disable then
Enable them later to make them "catch up" with you.
I cannot confirm that (yet) but her stats when I found her (at level 27) favored a bow over one-hand, over two-hand (by 2:1 each), light way over heavy armor, blocks well and her
sneaking was only moderate.

You can get information on followers on the Wikis:

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Followers

It doesn't list exact numbers (at least for Jenassa) because it will depend on your level when you hire her.

Minimum level 10, maximum level 40, level is 1x player's level, health offset of 50. Starting equipment is one set of leather armor minus the helm, one iron sword, and one iron dagger. Class is CombatRanger, favoring archery, light armor, one-handed, block, and sneak, in that order, descending. No perks, no spells (aside from those from her race, DarkElfRace: 50% resistance to fire and a flame cloak power she is unlikely to use). Will dual-wield. Eligible bachelorette.

Follower's numeric level increases but not derrived statistics; this can be remedied with console commands ("SetClass" or "Disable"/"Enable") or by using the Wabbajack.

Necro thread. :P

She should return there if she's alive, but it may take a while.

On PC you can use player.moveto 000e1ba9 in the console to teleport yourself to her.

If you are interested, here is the table of all the follower stats, which was linked from the followers wiki page.
