Dragon riding in a new dlc

Post » Wed Jun 06, 2012 4:47 am

I dont know about you but dragon riding in skyrim would be pretty awesome, i mean you are dragonborn, so why cant you ride or capture a dragon! or maybe you could buy one for 100'000 gold and you could ride it where ever maybe they could feature this as part as a new dlc

The world is to small for that have a point, and buying a dragon would not be possible simply because of their nature. I also doubt they would allow you to use them as common riding-animals.

It would be hard to do because many places can only be entered through gates like towns and some quest locations. Having a flying dragon would break those. If you flew to high you could probably see all the blank empty land beyond Skyrim as well.

But I suppose they could script it so the dragon is forced to land when going anywhere near those places and maybe it could only fly at a lower height.

And who would be selling a dragon?

Anyway, I don't think we need this.

There's not just one, but two threads covering the same question by the same OP: http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1327494-dragon-riding-in-a-new-dlc/

It's mindblowing!

Here's what I put in the "other" thread:

I'd rather not.

Spoiler
Even though we have the ability to see it firsthand (although as a cut scene), I'd rather not see it as a full time feature.

Not having winged mounts is one of many things that separates the ES series from WoW. If you really want this to happen, go mod it yourself and have fun. Nothing's stopping you from enjoying your single-player experience the way you want to.

I was all for dragon riding until I thought hang on this will make the game easier than spyro the dragon when outside dungeons, also why would a dragon allow itself to become a steed (as a norm), no better than a mule...It's like the thalmor becoming aid workers.

Dragon riding would not add much, for a whole lot of potential issues....

See that little search bar in the top right hand corner of the site? If you used that, you would see how many other people have posted the same idea as you, to have been rejected by everyone. Also,

or i could just spell it wrong and i wouldent have to waste like 2 minutes

That's hardly a good attitude to have.
