The things that bothers me in skyrim

Post » Wed Jun 06, 2012 4:09 pm

1. I see other NPC's drinking from a tankard but I'm unable to. WTF? Why can't I? I should be drinking from it each time I drink mead or Ale.
2. I see other NPC's folding their arms while I can't. Why is that?
3. I see other NPC's sitting on the ground or on rocks and other places besides chairs. Why am I restricted to sitting on chairs alone?
4. Clapping. NPC's do it so why can I?
5. Eating food. NPC's do it all the time with bread... so why can't I?
6. six. Sorry for all the prudes out there but in my game six is an essential. It's part of my RP. I want to be able to make love to my wife, and to potentially get her pregnant to start up a family. I also should have the right to have six with other women (City guards included) as well... and maybe get a few letters from the courier indicating that I've impregnated someone... or I've fathered a child.
7. Multiple marriage. Yes in my game I practice polygamy.

I would still like for this to be included in the game. Certainly it could be an option for each player, and not a requirement.

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=10870 allows you to set an animation for your character to do. Like lounge, sit, drink, and many more "unique" ones like ritual, combat (with invisible weapons) etc.

Really? Would you want to watch your character pulling his virtual (you know what) and get a wife pregnant?

They could always do what fable did with a black screen so you don't see anything >.<

I think it's hilarious when people get all upset or even offended about adding six (a completely natural and legal thing, I might add) to a game in which you get rewarded for killing hundreds of people and get cinematic effects of chopping someone's head off. Moral hypocrisy at its best...

^^This

I think everything on that list is avalible via MOD if your on PC. I've never messed with mine but the X-box has parental setting's, I'm sure the Ps3 does as well ( I could go look but I really don't want to). I don't know if that work's by not playing the disc at all or filtering out the errr XXX rated stuff.

Personally I can do with out haveing to watch cartoons haveing six... IF I want to watch porm, I will watch porm. But I do like the idea of the other things for console. And I have no moral problem with the option for six in a game, I just think it would be a waste of disc space that something else like more dialogue could use. IMO

Same here.

Besides six is already in the game. Sleep in the same bed as your spouse and you get "Lover's Comfort."

Some people just don't like using their imagination. We don't need any black screens or shaking controllers.

Agreed.

That being said, I wouldn't mind the option to have children in the game. I probably wouldn't use it, but it wouldn't bother me to have it. I don't get married until I'm about done with a character anyway, because I feel it'd be wrong to abandon my spouse to go off adventuring.

The last time I read Skyrim's Genre was RPG. It's suppose to be RP friendly environment. So far I feel restricted as of what I can and cannot do. If I can marry then I should be able to consummate the marriage. If it means that both I and my "virtual" partner gets naked and start making love then so be it.

If it bothers people that much to watch people having six then I agree that Bethseda should have a rated PG 13 version that they can choose from.

I find it ironic how it bothers people to watch others make love but nothing has been said about the excessive amount of violence that this game has. You can beat up old people, beat up children and everything else... yet people have a problem with adding six to the game.

six is not in the game. The "Lover's comfort" essentially means that you are sleeping with your spouse, and nothing more and here I am thinking that I have a bad case of having a filthy mind.

If you need six in an RPG for "immersion," then imagine it in. Because adding it in would just make people complain about even more things like that it's not realistic or that it's sloppy or that each potential partner is cookie cutter or that it's a cheap tactic or whatever the hell else there is. Also the fact that Skyrim as is rated 15 in Britan astounds me beyond words and makes me want to high-five the entire country.

But yeah, I'd rather get more work done on actually building up a romance beyond "Hey cool necklace want to get married?" than have anything else relationship-related. Especially for the dudes, where my female characters end up having to save THEM most of the time. :| Or maybe just more options. Marriage on the whole in Skyrim is kinda meh.

they could do a fable, hell they alrdy have the orphanage to discard ur children too. I think itd be hilarious going and doing ths very first db quest and having to wade thru all the children I gave up fod adoption. Me personally id problemly pack it all the way full until u couldnt get thru the door lol.

But I do agree with almost everything on the list. Hell have children and if ur away questing ao long they could throw in a rescue or ransom quest to get said spouse od child back.

That's not a very good example since all the repeatable quests in Fable III had the delivery and appeal of shoving your head in dry wall and eating all the wall studs you find in there.
