Skyrim Co-opMultiplayer

Post » Wed Jun 06, 2012 9:20 pm

I think they need to make a game like this where you can run around with another friend or two. I think it would make it a lot more fun having somebody else with you and maybe even have co-op storyline. The NPCs would definitely have to be a lot tougher since there are two of you, but they could do just like how they get tougher as you level up already.

Prepared to be flamed...

TES is a single player experience, and I want it that way. I speak for 90% of the community, to be honest.

Also there is a thread here for co-op discussions:
http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1320106-official-tes-multiplayerco-op-thread/

Anyway, Todd has said before that TES will never be a MMO or Co-Op in any way in the near future.

Not this thread again. Just search before you post please. No, this won't happen in any near future, and praise the gods for that. I don't want you MMO kids running around destroying my Skyrim.

NO. Sorry, but I don't know how to stretch that sentiment into a sentence.

While I would love to experience a MMO set in Tamriel, I do not want the core series of elder Scrolls games altered in the drastic way that would be required to do multiplayer correctly.

If ZeniMax were to commision a team of developers to design something hypothetical like "Tamriel Online" where the developers of the elder Scrolls series serve as nothing more than consultants on the lore for the sake of consistancy, and the Elder Scrolls series continues to be developed independently with no interference (other than the Bethesda Team working on their usual non-TES games in between), then it will have my full support...

...Unless it turns out to be yet another WoW clone... In which case I will have nothing but virtual vitriol to spew in their general direction...

Another one of these threads for a mod to lock. They weren't kidding when they said they've locked thread after thread after thread after thread, each one linked to a multiplayer discussion somewhere.

KEP TES OFFLINE.

I'm not wanting it to be like World of Warcraft. I'm just talking about like a different section with only a slight connection to the main story line that you can do with a friend. Kinda like the deniable-ops section from splinter cell. I'm completely against having just a bunch of douchebags running around making everything [censored]. I just want to be able to have a little co-op action.

Totally for it CO-OP. Co-op, mind. Link up with 1 other user and have a companion who won't get stuck in the furniture half the time. I agree with everyone here: I don't want to play with anyone on these forums, that's for sure. But I have 2 friends I would very much like to experience SKYRIM with, one of them where I would be the Dragonborn, the other where I'd be the companion. Sounds pretty fantastic, actually.
