Can a mod add decapitations?

Post » Wed Jun 06, 2012 12:12 pm

is it possible for a mod to add decapitations?

I know of the 2 handed perk which my warrior has. It rarely happens though and it's always the head coming off.

Personally I think it makes way more sense for Skyrim to have decapitations over a game like Fallout 3 which is mainly guns. I am hacking at something with my sword and surely an arm or leg should come off.

I think that and more blood are definitely needed.

http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3624 Makes the "kill scenes" more frequent Skyrim doesn't use a damage location system like Fallout did, I'm sure it can be made to but I doubt that will come before the CK is released.

yes but only from the 2 handed perk and it's very rare. it's not like I can even hit a body on the ground and something comes off.

Nope, one handed weapons too. And I have it happen quite frequently.

hmm didn't know that one. Maybe I just make a dual wield character. But is that just the head, or do the arms/legs/torse come off too?

there was even a location damage mod for oblivion although i never got around to using it. it was pretty popular so it must have worked fairly well. i will definitely be using it for skyrim.

It was notorious for causing CTDs, being incompatible and difficult to install/uninstall. Nothing against it, just it changed a hell of a lot because there was no other way to do it.

One of Oblivion mod added decapitation and was much more gory then even FO3 was so I am certain they can add more to the current model. Although I would be hoping for a locational damage system to be developed vs just more decap, of course with locational damage in place decapitation of each individual body part could be added by the same if not another modder altogether.

de·cap·i·tate
tr.v. de·cap·i·tat·ed, de·cap·i·tat·ing, de·cap·i·tates
To cut off the head of; behead.

Already available with one-handed and two-handed perks.

dis·mem·ber
tr.v. dis·mem·bered, dis·mem·ber·ing, dis·mem·bers
1. To cut, tear, or pull off the limbs of.

Probably won't happen until the CK is released.

People referring to both decapitation and dismemberment like they're the same thing makes my head hurt.

decapitation does not require a mod, use the console
set killmoverandom to 100
dismemberment is not and will require a mod||update
