So, I've been holding off on this dude's very last contract he can give me. Decided to actually do it the other night cause I got bored. Little did I know the easter egg hidden behind that mission. I <3 you Bethesda.

Basically, the contract is to go kill a Ship Captain named Redwave on their own ship. Now where does this sound familiar? Oh wait that's it.. this quest was in the Dark Brotherhood in Cyrodiil (Oblivion). I remembered instantly when he said the Captain's name.

I just want to say thank you Bethesda for that, made memories just flood back into my head at that very moment. My only disappoint was that you couldn't actually GET Redwave (the Weapon). That made me a very sad puppy...

If you're going to bring a quest like that back, why can't we have the Weapon as well?

I just UESP'd this because I was all WHAAAAAAAAAAT and you apparently remembered half-correctly. Redwave was a reward for the quest involving the ghost ship of Anvil, which I wouldn't have known unless I looked it up just now because I had completely forgotten there was a quest like that. The ship you sneak aboard in the DB quest is called the Marie Elena.

Still, I had never drawn those parallels until you mentioned them. That is kind of rad as hell.
