Shoadowmere Lost

Post » Wed Jun 06, 2012 10:30 pm

Seems I have managed to lose Shadowmere. Looked over the threads via "search" but could not locate anything on this issue. Also "Googled it" and found more dealing with Oblivion than Skyrim. Best I can come up with is the short fall we took had something to do with it. I got off Shadowmere and it ran off never to be seen again, been about 3 days (actual not game).

Suggestions?

Thanks!

Shadowmere tends to run off to fight with everything, fast travel somewere and he should be there with you.

If you've allready done that, apologies to you.

Did you lose her after obtaining a new horse? (Like right after getting Frost or buying a stable horse?)

If you did, then she will be lounging close to the stable where you obtained your newer horse. If you lost her when stealing Frost, as part of the Thieves quest line, she will be lounging in the forest behind the house you stole Frost from. Keep looking in a circle around the stables, you will find her.

If you lost her without getting a new horse she should be in the vicinity of the last area you remember seeing her. She does have a tendency to fight any and all "aggressive" NPC's so it is possible she is waiting nearish the last area you remember seeing her. Use the circle technique and you should find her.

Worst case scenario is that she aggro'd on an NPC(s) that might actually have killed her (doubtful with her massive regeneration) or she fell down a cliff when chasing whatever she was pursuing. Now, this last possibility has been proposed in other boards and I have not witnessed it; I have never seen an NPC "fall to their death" except when you "shout" at them or you "push" them off the side of a steep area.

No other mounts have been obtained. We jumped down a steep cliff, I dismounted, she ran off. Havent seen her since.

I lost him too, haven't seen him since. He annoyed me by always wanting to fight everything though.
