i did both at least a couple of time. although to be honest i only encountered a few minor bugs. skryim is by far the smoothest release at least for me. :) im on PC though. ive heard some horror stories from PS3 users.

Ya, I've done both quest lines on Xbox with no trouble.

i heard about some bugs with the companions. rare ones though.

don't know any bugs in dark brotherhood. even the companions ones are only bugs that i heard off. i completed both guilds multiple times already. no bugs for me on pc.

I've done both on XBOX with no issues. The benefits to being a Companion were useful when I did it early. I didn't feel they were as useful later. The DB was useful both early and later, so if I had to to pick one to do first, I would go companions.

The only bugs that I'm aware of in those guilds is the Companions only let you do one side quest before making you do a main quest in their guild line. Thus it "pushes" you through their quest line faster.

i wish that the other guilds had done just that. had i know that the college questline was so short i would have spread it out more with sidequests. as it was, i was archmage before i knew it. they should make you do at least two sidequests in between main quests or maybe make you wait a couple of days so you time to do something else.

But thats kinda what I'm saying...they only let you do one side quest, then you have to do a main quest for them. You can't continue doing radiant or sie quests to continue. To proceed in the guild you must do a main quest.

For instance, I did almost all of the side quests, before completing the mq at the College of Winterhold. In the Companions you can't do that.
