I also wonder does your souls still count considering it's the soul of a dragon (not even counting the dragon souls you steal)

I don't mind where my girls' souls end up as long as isn't with Nocturnal. Becoming a master thief and swearing yourself to the patroness of thieves only to die and have to guard some crypt for all of eternity? That's about as satisfying as gargling lemon juice during a root canol.

I would assume Akatosh has final say. Even if Dragonborn ends up in Sovngarde or is guarding the Twilight Sepulcher, Akatosh can reclaim his own at any time. He did so with Alduin in a realm not his own, so surely he can do so elsewhere.

My philosophy in development is that a Dovakiin's soul is very much like the soul of the dragon and resides in Nirn for eternity. However as humanoids aren't immortal, it leaves and wonders when the body is suitable no more, till such time comes that another suitable candidate is born, or when the need arises. I'm just wondering if there is a being that is able to abosrb a soul of a Dovakiin. Perhaps another dovakiin in the same time space?

Well, if we're talking IRL, I consider that "recycled" is what we all are. Our energy goes back to the universe. No, I don't believe in souls, gods, or religions. I'm perfectly happy to consider that after I die and am cremated there will be nothing left.
