To glitch or not to glitch?

Post » Wed Jun 06, 2012 3:02 pm

Im thinking of using the oghma infinium to level up, maybe not to 81 but to 50-60 as i do love the challange as levelling but it grows slightly tedious character after character and i really miss all my perks like crafting any armour and having all those little perks that make the game better? What do you guys think about this? Is there a better way to reach 60? Is there any point? Just give me your oppinion on the matter any input is welcome :) oh and does it still work as of the latest patch as im on Xbox.

I used on my 1st character after I hit 51 or so to recover a few perk points I wasted in Block.

I used on my 2nd character to go from 23 to 42.

On both I used it in School of Magic (I don't really use magic on either character) because I prefer to level up my 'real' skills naturally.

I used to do it all the time, after you put in over 1,000 hours it kind of gets boring grinding all of your skills for days on end.
If you're okay with it, do it for a while and get a boost.

Just glitch till you get to the level you want and put it in one of your houses. That way, you can use it again should you change your mind.

Yes. ...and even if you use it for what you think will be the last time glitch it then, too so you can keep it as a souvenir because it's unique, cool, and creepy looking. I even recommend to people who only intend to use it once to glitch it because I think it crumbles to dust when you use it properly. :P

I suggest you save beforehand I played my necromancer and found out that if I went to a vampire dungeon at level 32-38 I could have a master vampire thrall which I could have turned into a master volhikar thrall :(

also I can confirm it works with 1.5 with bookshelfs

I always keep my ohgma handy, I don't really use it to boost my character up many levels at a time, but If I'm having trouble or am on the verge of a perk I really need/want I use it, It's a nice thing to have when used sparingly/
