So I just got attacked by some hired thugs. I turned one of them into a thrall cuz he seemed pretty tough. So can any of u who know all the numbers tell me if this will make for a good thrall or should I use a a bandit chief???

If they scale to your level then we cannot tell you as you didn't state your current level.

There's curiously little information about hired thugs on both the Elder Scrolls wikia and UESP. I've always assumed they scale to your level, but I can't find anything definitive. Even so, they're essentially bandits, and there are stronger generic thralls such as Forsworn Ravagers and Ancient Vampires. Ravagers are always level 34 but are astonishingly overpowered with melee attacks, and Ancient Vampires are level 38 and also pretty awesome at things.

I'm wondering though, did they have leveled gear and all? Like Glass or Ebony armor, or just the standard Fur/Hide/Leather/Scaled armor that bandits usually have?

Because I'm totes OCD. ;o; Fandom requires it, as well. Hopefully I'll stick with this one for a while yet.
