Wait, what if the Elder Scrolls DID get multiplayer?

Post » Wed Jun 06, 2012 11:54 pm

Some people have already asked this question and most of the self proclaimed Elder Scrolls pros have replied "Oh no, multiplayer would ruin the game"... Wot? How could adding multiplayer even possibly ruin anything? I'm not talking zombies and kill streaks, I'm talking open world multiplayer, a sort of MMO type thing. Agreeably, adding multiplayer would take a lot of time and effort on bethesda's part and more than likely detract from the overall experiance, but wouldn't that be intresting? Multiplayer in the Elder Scrolls?

TES would officially be dead if Bethesda adds any kind of multiplayer.

Now that I think about it, it more than likely will get closed, as this has been posted about before. The reason I'm posting about it, is because I'm intrested to see if everyone agrees with the "elder scrolls pros". And so it would appear.

It would be even more streamlined and watered down than Skyrim. They cant even get everything that people wanted in Sky, how could they in another ES, that had to focus on two fronts?

I don't find skyrim watered down at all. Sure some things are missing from Oblivion or maybe Morrowind, but I don't see why we needed any of the things from past Elder Scroll games. As Todd Howard said, "We always like to start fresh".

I guess you never played any other ES then.

How will MMO Elderscrolls be any different from anyother MMORPG which comes included with immature player-killing kill-stealing spawn-camping item-scamming kids?
