Your way of getting Daedra Hearts?

Post » Wed Jun 06, 2012 9:27 pm

I was wondering what everyones preferred way of getting Daedra Hearts was. I haven't found any Daedra's or Daedra quests lately and I need some hearts. Normally I'd just go to the Alchemy chick in Whiterun since she seems to get them every 48 Hours sometimes but it doesn't seem she has been. Any suggestions?

The Mehrune's Razor quest. You can get at least 4 per visit to Mehrune's Shrine once the Quest is completed.

Thanks! This is how I originally got most of mine for my armor, I didn't think they'd respawn if I went back though.

This. ^

Make sure you stay away from that cell during it's respawn period or it will bug out and the Dremora will stop spawning.

Edited for clarity.

If you have the Sigil Stone, you can make them at the Atronach Forge too. :tes:

Yep. This is what has happened to me. No more Dremora, so now I just buy them whenever a merchant has them.

It happened on my 1st character (who really needed them - Heavy Armor) and is recently acting up on my 2nd (the 2 outside didn't spawn last time I checked). <_<

I think the dude in Riverwood stocks them as well.

Yep. Human Heart + Black Soul Gem x Sigil Stone :P

Of course, Human Hearts are more rare than Daedra Hearts. <_<

if I need them and I don't happen to have one or two stashed away, I buy them from Babette.

Babette, Enthir, and Herluin Lothaire in the Ragged Flagon seem to consistently have at least one Daedra Heart each time they inventory resets. Sometimes other alchemists have them, too, but not on a consistent enough basis to be a good source.

I become Harbinger of the Companions for number One.<-- I usually sacrifice this heart to get Volendrung.
I complete the Labrynthian Maze for Number Two.<--- This is the first Daedric Heart my Mages get.
I do Discerning the Transmundane for Number Three (Sinderions' Lab).<--- I like delving into Alftand as soon as I can on my characters.
The Alchemists Satchel in Breezehome seemed to always have one, but this was just luck.

If you go to Dawnstar and do the Waking Nightmare quest, you can get two.

You can get three by doing Azura's Quest (though you have to kill the dremora using them first of course... ;))
