What's in your Caravan deck?

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 7:30 am

Right now I'm using the base deck minus two jacks and two queens. Thought about pulling some lower cards, but I figure it's working and it's not my fault the computer is awful at the game- might as well keep working it as-is.

Also, I'm using the base deck because I don't know how to add the outside set cards. :o Help?

Check with merchants. I haven't seen any in the specific categories (i.e. Misc/Aid/etc.), but when you view their name, just scroll down and you can find cards. I know Chet has some, and I've seen some with other merchants as well.

I don't think anything's "special" with it. It's just that you can only use a single of of any given deck. So finding a Jack of from Gommarah means you can use that Jack of plus another Jack of with a different deck backing.

I personally have bought every card I've run across... I can't remember what they were or what the starting deck has and I always randomize my deck anyway...so it doesn't really make a difference to me. *shrug* Waste of caps, but it works for me.

I should have been more specific. I've bought some of the extra cards, but I don't know how to actually use them. Clicking them on the Pip Boy doesn't do anything. When I start a game, I have my base 54 card deck to choose from and that's all. I don't see any options for pulling cards in from outside sets.

Hmmm.... I thought my deck all had the same backing until I started buying new cards. Now I know I have a deck with mixed card backrounds.

You didn't do anything special? They just appeared in your deck?

All I ever did was buy the cards. The next time I played, they were in the lineup where I choose cards. Kinda pointless since I always do a random deck, but yes, they just appeared.
